3. Ben Folds- Great new Album by Folds called Way to Normal. The best tracks on that album are by far Bitch Went Nuts, Effington, Cologne, Hiroshima (B B B Benny Hit), and Dr. Yang. Also really like his stuff from Rockin the Suburbs in particular Zak and Sara, Rockin the Suburbs, Fired, Fred Jones Pt. 2, and Gone. He also has great albums with the Ben Folds Five. Some of my favorite songs of them have got to be Battle of Who Could Care Less, Brick, Fair, Kate, and Jackson Cannery.

First off the concert was amazing. Had a great time hearing Ben play. So I almost just got beat up by some random guy that started to yell loudly and drunkenly at ben kweller screaming yeahhhh and making loud obsenities at me and Ben Kweller. I also stood next to a woman that I thought was ben kwellers wife. I mean the kids were literally imitations of him. But then she said we just got his newest album and loved it. “He was suppose to sign autographs, but he’s with his family tonight.” Crazy Houston fans, they never cease to amaze you

Essay on Fraternity By Steven Wulfe

When someone asks me what fraternity is, I can’t immediately explain it. Fraternity is defined by as a group of men with a common goal. I actually believe this is wrong, as fraternity CAN NEVER be defined by words, but by actions. When you look at Erich Weiss, you see a rowdy group of guys who can be considered the craziest bunch of Jews you have ever met. I remember one event; we had a 5 min meeting, and a 1-hour football game. We do everything as a chapter, we have not only events with each other, and we hang out with each other at school, Sunday school, at life in general. When it comes to messing around, and even get in trouble, we are still together as one family. I think if you had to narrow it down to words, I would say that it would have to be family, cause we are one.
We do everything as one, and that never changes. After regionals, there were some complaints that Erich Weiss did not deserve the award of the Gavel, and this member was even in our own chapter. At the meeting after regionals, something strange happened, we kept the fraternity going. This member kept arguing that we were a pretend chapter, and that the only reason that we won was because of our fake desire to be friends. What really hit home to that member was the fact the every single person made a contribution in Good/Welfare, which for us is a miracle. All of us made an example on where and how that was fraternal. Everything from Stanky Leg coming into the Godol’s states, or into winning AZAA and the Treasure hunt in the same weekend. We won the most fraternal AIT class two years in a row, and the Dynasty lives on. If that isn’t enough, look at our recent adventures, for the first time two years ago, Ryan Dinesman made Erich Weiss’ first Brotherhood weekend, and again made it a success a year later. David Epstein and Austin Abelow both made it too SCC Godol, and we are actively making other members aware of what Erich Weiss is, and why we are the best.
The only way we could have made these progressions is through the fraternity we have. Someone came up and asked me (Steven) how we didn’t have cliques in our chapter. I was appalled that cliques existed at all in a chapter. I was brought up as an AIT thinking that we were brothers before friends, and that never changes. I think what showed what fraternity the best was the small meeting after the hunt at regionals. Everything we said in there was positive, and instead of showering and getting for the dance, we spent over 2 hours speaking to each other, talking about our faults that term, and our success. We opened up as brothers, and made the greatest time of our lives that moment, just by being us, and letting go barriers and grudges. Being a brother is what fraternity is. It’s Erich Weiss. Did we deserve fraternity??? Just look at all of us with out dynasty signs in the air, and tell us no…..

The month of June 2009 has been a great one for me. I graduated high school. It also has been such a crazy month for me. So many hilarious moments have occurred this month that will go in this later.
